E ENVELOPE

Layout, orientation, fabric check walk around, cable connections, valve and scoop/skirt

A ACCESSORIES

Aircraft documents, drop line, radios, lost crew number, charts, maps, striker, cold weather clothing, envelope bag and helmets

L LINES

Basket-envelope cables connected, valve line attached to superstructure, crown line untangled

I INSTRUMENTS

Property connected, set and operational altimeter, variometer, pyrometer, watch compass, radio, strong batteries

V VALVES AND VENTS

In place with line attached, valve reseated prior to launch or ASAP

E EXTRA STRIKER, EVERYTHING ALL OVER AGAIN
